Fitness for Ellie is raising money for Eleanor Collie. Eleanor was born in April 2018 and is a beautiful little girl with Down Syndrome. At 5 weeks old she was diagnosed with leukemia and was admitted to the St. Jude Children’s Research hospital on her first birthday. Eleanor is now 17 months and has had five of her scheduled six chemo treatments. She moved to Memphis where she is currently receiving treatment at the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. All proceeds from this competition will go to St. Jude while amazing people like you represent the fitness community.
Pete Soto, Ellie’s grandfather worked as a police officer for the Lorain police department for 15 years and retired from the Avon police department. Pete moved to Tennessee and babysat Ellie for 8 months before she started treatment. Linda Soto, Ellie’s grandmother, was a former CrossFitter and is always there to support her family in every way possible.
This fundraiser is open to all public and workouts are geared to all types of fitness levels. We will have a Male and Female RX and scaled divisions.
